Trust the terrifically talented team at non-profit arts and fashion organization PARK (Promoting Artists | Redefining
Kulture) to take it to the next level.
Its eighth installment of PARKSHOW took place May 23 in the newest north parkade addition at Chinook Centre. The event brought the coastline to Calgary through an interactive and underground experience in an ocean-inspired setting. Featured Calgary artist Jennie Vallis channeled the ocean theme with her series of ocean-inspired installations.
Emerging designers from across Western Canada showcased their finest spring/summer 2015 collections much to the delight of the more than 700 fashionably forward guests.
Collections on the catwalk this night included: Eliza Faulkner (Vancouver); Bano eeMee (Calgary); S P Badu (Calgary); Vivian Lee (Toronto/Calgary); LUXX RTW (Edmonton); Suka (Edmonton); Coutu Kitsch (Calgary);
Lennard Taylor (Winnipeg); 6 Streets (Calgary); Forge Apparel (Calgary), as well as several Canadian
Chinook Centre retailers.
